John M. Brinkley, 77, a retired farmer, died at 8:45 o'clock last night at his home in Eaton, after a few hours' illness caused by heart disease. He has been a resident of Eaton for more than thirty years and was born in Iowa. The body was removed to the Briggs mortuary at Eaton and will be returned to the home this afternoon.
Surviving are the widow, Delilah; two sons, John of Eaton and Jesse of Hartford City; and one daughter, Mrs. Mary Foorman of Eaton.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Lowell Wilson in the Eaton M.E. Church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
