Gladys Durham, age 101, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away at Life Care Center of Columbia on Friday, October 28, 2016. She was born October 11, 1915.

Gladys is preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Durham, who passed away in 1973; twin daughters: Betty Jean and Nana Jane; two siblings: Acie Bradburn, Odell Bradburn, and Lila Shaw; parents: Jimmy and Mattie Bradburn.

Gladys is survived by her daughters: Geraldine (Rayburn) Dugger and Linda (Terry) Tidwell; four grandchildren: Michael (Cindy) Dugger, Phyllis (Jay) Greene, Robby (Tammy) Dugger, Rodney (Misty) Tidwell; seven great grandchildren: Kelley (Tony) Gray, Katie (Scott) Beasley, Sawyer (Jenny) Greene, Caleb (Morgan) Dugger, Adam Runions, Tiffany (Coleton) Watson, and Haleigh (Andrew) Giles; seven great great grandchildren: Baleigh, Griffin, Karsen, Lane, Eli, Mason, and Kaylen.

The family would like to thank Dr. Charles Ball and the nursing staff at Life Care Center of Columbia for the excellent care given to Gladys.

A private family graveside service will be conducted at Barnesville Cemetery in Summertown.

Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be shared online at www.williamsfh.com.
