Mary C. (Goetz) Kreutzer (1838-1904)
Margaret (Goetz) Weigel (1842-1924)
Their parents are listed as Johannes Goetz and Francesca Bollig in Die Herzoger. However, the 1834, 1850, and 1857 Herzog, Russia census all list the parents and Andreas Goetz (1805-1847) and Francesca (1810-aft 1857).
This Anna Goetz is probably buried in Poland as she died on the way to America.
From the "Goetz Genealogy" by Helen Linenberger Hall, 1962, Vol. 1, pg 155
"Anna Goetz died at Warshbalof, Poland where she and her family were held over at the time they migrated to America--1893. Lorenz came to America in August, 1893 with his family, later married Margaret Dornhoff, with whom he is pictured above."
Special acknowledgement to Mrs. Richard J. Storm of LaCrosse, KS for above information.
