John H Thomas died at the home of his son, F B Thomas, at 416 Carpenter Street, this morning. He was born in Appomattox co, VA, Jun 9, 1811. He came west and settled in MO in 1833, and eight years ago removed to Moberly, where he has since resided. He leaves one son, F B Thomas of the firm of Thomas & Son, of this city; one brother and one sister of Salisbury, besides other relatives. (Copy from the Moberly Democrat of 5th)
