Gregory Scott Kelley, 48, passed away unexpectedly at 2:23 a.m., Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Lexington, KY.

Greg was born on December 02, 1967, in Michigan City to Alfred and Sandra (Woodruff) Kelley, who survive in Michigan City.

Greg was a union construction worker who took great pride in his work. He enjoyed fishing and outdoor activities. Greg loved his family. He will be lovingly remembered as having a vivid imagination and a wonderful sense of humor.

Surviving are his parents, Alfred and Sandra Kelley; his special daughters, Mindy (Blake) Kelley Hall and Alexis Kelley; two sisters, Pam (Randy) Lindborg and Carmen (Mike) Gondek; his maternal grandmother, Norma Woodruff; two very special nephews, Garrett Gondek and Kyle Lindborg; and a very special niece, Olivia Kelley.

Preceding in death was his brother, Jeff Kelley.

A funeral celebrating his life will be held at 5 p.m., Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, (219) 362-3100 with Pastor Michael Johnson officiating. Visitation and viewing will be from 3 p.m. until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home. A private burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City following services.
