Frank served as a Staff Sergeant, 788th Amphibious Tank Battalion, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Fairfield County, Connecticut prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on May 1, 1942 in Hartford, Connecticut. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a welder and also as Single, without dependents.

Frank was "Killed In Action" on the first day his Battalion invaded Leyte Island, Philippines during the war.

He was awarded the Purple Heart.
