Robert E Logan was born June 9,1932 to Clarence and Pearl [Fisk]Logan in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.He is my stepdad but I consider him my father,as my father passed away when I was five. He married my mother Ida[Campbell,Morency] Logan on January 17,1953.He was 84 years old when he passed away


He is a veteran of the U S Army and retired after twenty years of service,receiving the bronz star also decorated with the Good Conduct Medal,Oak Leaf Cluster,Viet Nam Service Medal and Expert Badge of Honor. He was an Engineer. He served in the Korean war Viet Nam twice and Germany and Korea He retired a Master Sgt.While serving in the Korean war he was stabbed seven times in the stomach with a bayonet.

He is preceded in death by his wife Ida Logan,parents Clarence and Pearl Logan,his brothers,James,Donald and William Logan and sisters,Jacqueline Stich and Geraldine Guthrie,also stepsons Alfred,Robert and John Morency

He grew up in Oklahoma with his siblings,Geraldine,James,William,Jacqueline,Donald,Charles,
Catherine and John were he enjoyed fishing and hunting

He was stationed in many places.He lived in New Jersey for awhile doing remodeling work. He and my mom moved to Oklahoma in 1974 were he worked for the Oklahoma Unemployment Service as the Veteran Rep for twenty year until he retired.

He never had any children except for his step children,Alfred,Robert,John.Thomas and Diane.His grand children are John,Joann,Bonnie,Nancy,Donna, Robert,Thomas,Michael,Nicholas,Dawn and Andy. His great grandchildren are,John Christian,Christine,Matthew,Heather,Philip,Robbie,Joshua.Devon,Shane,Derrick,Samantha and Carson,he also is a great great grandpop of 4.

He passed away quietly at the Claremore VA Home in Oklahoma.
He will be missed dearly.
