Joel Edward Little passed to his Heavenly home on January 13, 2014 In Ennis, Texas.

Joel was born on August 11, 1937 in Hillsdale, Michigan to Orville and Edna LaVine Little.

He was a faithful Elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Ennis. He was a devoted husband, friend and family man.

He never really retired, always finding new activities, jobs and repairing or rebuilding whatever needed attention. He took great pleasure in helping anyone needing assistance. The rocking chair did not exist for him.

Joe is survived by his best friend and wife, Lou Ann Little; sons: Joel Little and wife, Ann, of Salem, Ohio, Mike and Wia Haddock of Dallas, Steve Haddock of Denver, Colorado, Donnie and Gloria Haddock of Platteville, Colorado; daughters: Shannon and Rick Arthur of Beavercreek, Ohio, Shawna Jo Giddings of Toledo, Ohio and Ruby Hays of Indianapolis, Indiana; twenty grandchildren; a great-granddaughter, Pepper Haddock; a great-grandson, Austin Conlin; sister, Rebecca and Maurice Tase; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bill and Janis Moreman of Arlington, Texas and his loving English Mastiff, Krescent Little who misses him terribly.

He is precede in death by his parents, Orville and Edna Little.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of his life will take place on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church of Ennis with Rev. Craig C. Krueger officiating. Pallbearers will be: Jim Bain, John Casper, Bill Chapman, Van Morse, Bobby Owen and Harold Porter. Honorary pallbearers will be: Guy Mixon and Dr. Ron Oglesby. Interment will follow under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.

The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be sent to the First Presbyterian Church of Ennis or the charity of your choice in Joel's name.
