CLIFTON LEON LAX, 69, of Wheat Ridge died Feb. 15. Mr. Lax was born in Shamrock, Texas, on Dec. 21, 1927. He married Nancy L. Hill, 1972. He owned a steam cleaning service, retiring in 1982. He was a member of Mile Hi Church of Religious Science. Survivors include his wife; sons Richard of Arvada, Leslie Cameron of Aurora, Robert Cameron of Nevada; daughters Carolyn Lee and Jennifer Chestnut, both of Texas, Debbie Hamlin of Arvada, Cynthia Swenson of Washington; brothers Cleo, Allen, Lorin, Kenny and Frank; sisters Lola, Rachael, Venla and Mary; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
