Janice was born on December 30, 1937, in Camden, the daughter of Clell M. and Edith L. (McGinnis) Bellis. She married Larry Keith Pennington of Orrick, MO on May 17, 1956; he preceded her in death on July 22, 2019. Survivors include: three children: Cindy (Larry) Cohoon of Carlyle, IL, Alan (Sharon) Pennington of La Russell, and Andy Pennington (Lisa Hastings) of Richmond; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; her brother Ronnie Gay Bellis (born 1939); and two sisters, Joyce Coleen Bellis Ivey (born 1941) and Judith Carol Bellis Beckmann (born 1943).
