It appears that white plastic letters were glued to the cross to memorialize the three babies that are buried here.
Some of the plastic letters have fallen off, and the cross appears to be ready to topple over.
I doubt that this cross will be readable in future years.
I included a photograph of the big "EBERHARDT" monument to serve as a landmark.
According to cemetery records, the following three burials were made on this lot:
1) "NATHAN Z. BARTLETT (Baby) buried May 31, 1990 at Sec. 1 Lot 4 Grave #1"
2) "BABY BOY BARTLETT buried June 29, 1990 at Sec. 1 Lot 4 Grave #1".
3) "BROOKE A. BARTLETT (Infant) buried March 30, 1993 at Sec. 1 Lot 4 Grave #1".
In April 2024 I noticed that the cross is gone.
