-Lucille Marie Farnsworth, 79, died at Valley View Home Tuesday, Feb 19, due to ill health for several years. Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb, 23, at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist Church in Glasgow with Pastor James Stewart officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery with Bell Mortuary in charge of arrangements. Surviving as pallbearers were Gary Farnsworth, Wallace Smith, Eugene Smith, Wayne Smith, Raymond Wetzel and Herman Schiell. Born Sept 9, 1905 in Grundy Center, Iowa, she was the daughter of Ray B Walston and Elsie Mae Harris. Raised in Iowa, she came to Montana in 1927. On March 14, 1974, she married Vernon Farnsworth in Glasgow. She was a member of the World War I Auxiliary, World War II Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary 3107, American Legion Auxiliary 41 and the Methodist Church. Survivors include her widower Vernon, three sons, Wallace Smith of Kewanee, Ill, Eugene Smith of Columbus, and Wayne Smith of Cheyenne, Wyo; one stepson, Gary Farnsworth of Minot, N D ; two daughters, Elsie Schiell (Herman) Nerstrand of Minnesota and Marilyn (Raymond) Wetzel of Missoula, 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.∼Daughter of Raymond Bertrum and Elsie May (Harris) Ralston. Siblings: Elon DeVere, Carl W. and James B. Ralston.
