Daughter of Jack and Beatrice (Jones) Graves, Elizabeth married Kenneth J. Cleary and they had four children. Kenneth died in 1984 and in 1987 Elizabeth moved to Whidbey Island and worked with her son David at the Midway Barber Shop in Oak Harbor. On July 5, 1988 she married Robert Henry Rumsey in Skagit County.
She was survived by two sons, Alan Cleary and David Cleary of Oak Harbor and Richard Cleary of Arlington, Washington; one daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Karen) VandeWerfhorst of Oak Harbor; two brothers, Marvin McClurg and Michael McClurg; and three sisters, Patricia McClurg, Florence Soelich and Mary Ann McClurg.
