Carolyn Flowers Brantley, age 83, of Troy, died Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Troy Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11am at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev's Donnie Dunn and Michael Alsup officiating. She will lie in state for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the Banks Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing.
She is survived by her son, Boak Brantley and her daughter, Joy Lance (Peter); grandchildren, Von Brantley, Mark Brantley, JoAnna Kilpatrick (Mark), Amy Broadhurst (Matt), Erin MacMurdo, Dia Powell (William), Lauren Smith; great grandchildren, Audrey and Ellie Barron, Katherine Bullock Paul (Marcus), Liam and Xan Powell, Eli Smith, and Lucy Broadhurst; cousins, Wiley Diamond and Jennifer Grojan; Caregivers, Ossie Burden, Linda Thomas, Gloria Walker, Brenda McClain, Mattie Blair, Valarie James, Betty Pierson, Addie Gray, Patsy Dubose, Jimmy and Dale Law at Noble Manor.
