Thomas K. Barclay, age 84, passed away October 25, 2016 at home surrounded by family.

Thomas Kreston Barclay was born on March 27, 1932 in Jamestown, ND to June and Kreston Barclay.

Tommy came to Anaconda as a child along with his parents and siblings. He was one of nine children.

He married Dolores L. Miller on June 15, 1957 in Anaconda. Tom and Dolores raised five children and teased countless grandchildren

Tom worked with the Anaconda Company until it’s closure in 1980. When Barclay II was opened, he was maintenance until they retired.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Dolores, daughter Linda Miller Page, brothers John Barclay and Dennis Barclay, sister Delores Reich, sisters-in-law Dorothy Barclay and Helen Heath, brothers-in-law Michael Karlovich, Gordon Heath and Dale Tuttle, and nephews Brad Barclay and Frank Martz.

Tom is survived by his children Bill (Lucy) Miller of Anaconda, Mike (Jeannie) Miller of Paducah, KY, Cheryl (Mike) Dunn of Anaconda, and Tammy (Gerry) Maney of Missoula

His grandchildren Cena Phillips, Daile MacLeod, Rona Sanchez, Jana (Rob) Miller, Jon-Paul Sletten, Jessica (Joe) Daniels, Letia (Matt) Clouston, Zach (Emily) Miller, April (David) Feeley, Tom Maney, Jennifer Maney, and Eric (Ashley) Maney.

His brothers Greg (Marilyn) Barclay, Bob Barclay, both of Anaconda and Rich (Sue) Barclay of Independence, MI. His sisters Betty Williams, and Lanora Tuttle, both of Anaconda and sisters -in-law Linda Barclay of Anaconda and Marty Karlovich of Great Falls, brother-in-law Gil Reich of Hamilton, as well as 22 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Montana Hope Project, PO Box 5927, Helena, MT 59604 or a charity of the Donor’s choice.

Funeral services will be held at Hope Lutheran Church on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service.
