Sister Renee was born on April 4, 1962 in Tarboro, North Carolina to Abram Horne and Delores Horne. She started school in Hawaii in 1967, she also lived at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Junction City, Kansas, and Wurzburg Germany where she graduated high school in 1980. She worked at the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) at Fort Ord California. Sister Renee also worked in Lawton Oklahoma with DHS, Gentiva Health Care, TCIM Fort Sill Swanson Food Service, and her last job was R&R Food Service on Fort Sill until she retired.
Sister Renee’s passion was her three children and two grandchildren. She also loved to watch the cooking channel, movies, and playing cards.
She is survived by her parents of Lawton Oklahoma; three daughters, Ebony Davis-Lee (Bishop Lee), Dashauna Davis, and Tanisha Davis from Lawton Oklahoma; grand-children Dezhane Malone from Lawton Oklahoma and Jacorie Davis from Kingtree South Carolina; brothers Antonio Horne (Ann Horne) from Cedar Park Texas, Richard Horne from Palm Bay Florida, and Deon Horne from Waggoner Oklahoma; nieces Katrina Long (Eric Long) from San Antonio Texas, Tanoria Horne from Orlando Florida, Alysha Horne from Cedar Park Texas, Zion Horne from Patrick Air Force Base Florida; nephews Christopher Bailey of Norfolk Virginia, Areon Horne from Cedar Park Texas; aunts Emma Alexander (Fred Alexander) from Silverspring Maryland, Lilly Wiggins (Arthur Wiggins) from Fort Washington Maryland, Irene Darden of Pine Top North Carolina, Romena Almond of Jamaica New York, Grace Grant of Anniston Alabama, and Dorothy Harris of Anniston Alabama.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Viola & Clinton Staton, Dorthy Arits and Abram Harris, uncles JC Horne, Abram Harris, Ronald Harris and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
