Lifelong Shawnee resident, Sandra L. Davis, 74, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016. Sandra was born November 5, 1941 in Shawnee to Roscoe and Helen (Pierce) Richardson.

She attended Shawnee schools, and was a member of the Round-Up Club. She graduated from Shawnee High School. Throughout her life, she worked various jobs, including the Pottawatomie County Development Authority for 5 years. She also owned a dog kennel, which she ran for 8 years. Sandra owned 6 nightclubs throughout her lifetime, the most recent being Broadway in Seminole.

Sandra loved all animals, especially dogs, cats, and horses. She also loved to cook, and her collection of over a thousand cookbooks kept her inspired.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Starr Davis; daughter and son-in-law, Deidra and Roger Loveland; son, Rusty Hall; grandchildren, Eric and husband Roger Loveland, Lake Hall, and Chase Hall; brother and sister-in-law, Rocky and Wynonna Richardson; sister and brother-in-law, Roxanne and Ernie Gray; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 10am Friday at Resthaven Memorial Park.
