Jeffrey "Jeff" S. Dean, 39, passed away Oct. 25, 2016. He was born May 17, 1977, in Newton, to Jerry D. and Kristine K. (Rowland) Dean.

Jeff graduated from Buhler High School in 1995 and attended Hutchinson Community College. He worked for Lowe's Home Improvement as a mill work specialist. Jeff was an avid Oakland Raiders fan. He had a unique, infectious laugh and was adored by kids and animals. Jeff also helped coach Hutch Hawks 5th and 6th grade football.

Jeff is survived by: sons, Kendrick Dean, Ashton Quidachay; twin daughters, Qourtney and Shia Dean; parents, Jerry and Kristine Dean, all of Hutchinson; brother, Jon Dean of Wichita; maternal grandparents, Bill and Jewell Rowland of Hutchinson; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents, Floyd and Una Dean; and maternal grandmother, Anne Blakey.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Travis Heneha officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery, Hutchinson.

Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary.

Memorials may be made to the Jeffrey S. Dean Children's Education Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main Hutchinson, KS 67501.
