The graves of the Anders Family Cemetery were moved in September 1987 to a plot on the margin of the Brush Creek Baptist Church Cemetery prior to destruction of the cemetery during construction of a new bridge crossing New River. The highway engineer who inspected the site thought there were 24 or more graves.
