Verena E. (Stehling) Langehennig passed peacefully Monday, October 24, 2016 at the age of 92.
Verena was born on September 1, 1924 in Fredericksburg, Texas. She dedicated her life to her husband and raising her four daughters. She taught them the art of housekeeping and how to cook, sew, crochet and embroider. She worked with her husband at the St. Vincent de Paul clothing room and the Men's Garden Club. She was a long time member of St. Margaret Mary's Altar Society.
She is survived by her daughters, Janet Jendrzey, Jeanne Borlinghaus (Roger), Diane Mudd (Mike) and Julie Schreiner (Ron), eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 sisters, Frances Pfeister, Lou Durst and Gladys Edwards (Johnny).
She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Walton A. Langehennig, her parents, Albert and Emma Stehling, brothers, Hilmar, Alois and Leroy Stehling and sisters, Helen Burrier, Agnes Pahl, Elizabeth Langbein, Dora Bower and Alice Kallenberg.
