IDA PEARL JONES Ida Pearl Jones, 87, of Okmulgee, died Sunday, September 19, 1993, in Okmulgee Memorial Hospital. She was born March 9, 1906, in Ada, Okla. to Bill and Mary Logan.
She married Russell Francis Jones in Eufaula, Okla., in 1925. They moved from Lenna, Okla. to Preston and then to Okmulgee in 1945. Mrs. Jones was a housewife and a member of the Church of Christ in Okmulgee.
Precedeing her in death were her husband, Russell Jones; and three brothers, Troy Logan, Thelbert Logan and Whitney Logan.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Neal of Eufaula, Okla., and Betty Berry of Richmond, Texas; son, Russell Jones of Tulsa; sisters Bertha Young and Mae Graimeck, both of Delano, Calif. and Blanch Parker of Hanford, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 1993, at the Church of Christ in Okmulgee with Bro. Ralph Baldwin officiating. Interment will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Pallbearers will be Gaines Neal, John Neal, James Butler, Scott Berry, Vernon Himes, and Dennis Chapman.
