"Christopher Don Blake, age 43, of Herndon passed away Friday, October 21, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, October 28, 2016 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Mike Barbee officiating. Burial will follow in Powell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.

Chris was born September 24, 1973 in Hopkinsville, KY the son of Murray Blake (Teresa) of Hopkinsville and Edith Waldrop Morris (Kenneth) of Herndon, KY. He was a former employee of Hopkinsville Elevator. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, James and Colleen Blake, and his maternal grandfather, John Waldrop.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his brother, Bryan Blake and his wife, Mica of Nashville; his sisters, Karen Edwards and her husband, Kevin of Hopkinsville, and Amanda Major and her husband, Jeff of Crofton; his maternal grandmother, Sarah Waldrop; his nephews, Tyler Lancaster, Kenton Lancaster, Justin Major, and Jaxon Edwards; his nieces, Rachel Major and Addison Edwards."
