WHEELER, ERNEST DORMAN, loving father and outstanding friend passed away Friday August 27, 2004 in Irving after a brief illness. He was born in Burnet, Texas on November 29, 1936 to Ewell Wheeler and Mary Lou Shepherd. He is preceded in death by his wife, Diane Wheeler in 1996 and brothers, Charles and James. Survivors include daughter, Kristie Wheeler and husband Al Gibbons of Irving; son, Scott Wheeler and friend Marla Wallis of Irving; 2 grandchildren, Nathan Wheeler and Lauren Gibbons; sisters-in-law, Johnnie Wheeler and Cindy Reed; mother-in-law Jean Hutchins, brother-in-law Gary Hutchins and numerous family and friends. Visitation is 6-8 PM Sunday August 29, 2004 at Brown's Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday August 30, 2004 at Brown's Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
