Martha "Collene" Austin, 75 of Sandoval, passed away Monday, October 25, 2016 at Odin Healthcare Center.

She was born August 16, 1941 in Sandoval, daughter of Lewis Deadmond and Edith (Berning) Deadmond.

She is survived by a daughter, Melody Hall of Centralia; two sons, Paul Austin and wife Cheryl of Patoka, and Scott Austin of Sandoval; six grandchildren, Ashley Campbell and husband Todd of Centralia, Leslie Austin and husband Travis of Trenton, Matthew Peters of Centralia, Brandi Austin of Salem, Scott Austin, Jr. of Patoka, and Chelsey Austin of Patoka; six great-grandchildren, Caleb, Devon, Trent, Ella, Gavin, and Gracie; sister-in-law, Elaine Deadmond of Centralia; a niece, Cassie Deadmond of Centralia; a nephew, Josh Deadmond and wife Jessica of Troy, Missouri; a great-niece, Avery; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ray Deadmond.

Collene worked at the Sandoval City Hall for 28 years and later retired. She was a member of the Sandoval Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ. She enjoyed playing cards, playing Bingo, camping, and going to yard sales. Her greatest enjoyment was baking and spending time with her family and friends.

Funeral services for Martha "Collene" Austin will be held Friday, October 28, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia, with Brother Rick Wilmoth officiating. Burial will follow at Deadmond Cemetery in Sandoval. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home and also Friday, October 28, 2016 from 10:00 am until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia which is assisting the family with arrangements.
