On April 13, 2014 R. John Hess beloved husband of Lillian R. Hess; devoted father of Frank J. Hess and the late John L. Hess; cherished grandfather of Kirstie Hess; dear brother of James L. Hess and Sara Carter. The family will receive friends at HARRY H. WITZKE'S FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City on Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, 10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ellicott City Volunteer Fire Department or to the Boy Scouts of America.
