She touched many lives with her gentle spirit and also as an attorney with her fiery no-nonsense approach to family law, especially child custody matters.
Diane was born and raised in Queens, New York. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Queens College with honors in history and continued her education at Santa Clara University, where she obtained a Degree of Juris Doctor.
Diane retired in 2012 and enjoyed pursuing a lifetime passion taking ballet lessons, pilates, and running. She traveled extensively with her husband, Dennis Barnes, throughout the United States and Europe.
Diane was preceded in death in 2010 by her loving father, Murray Nadler. She is survived by her loving husband Dennis, loving mother Marilyn Nadler, brothers Lesley Nadler and Howard Nadler, sisters Naomi Woodmansee and Bonnie Nadler, numerous nieces and nephews, a great niece and nephew, and many lifelong friends and colleagues.
