She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Ella (Weiss) Tomhave; husband, Jerome Zimmerman; daughter, Brenda Zimmerman; brother, Doyle Tomhave; and special friend, Dale Offerman.
She retired in 1986 after 33 years with the state mental health system where she worked as a surgical nurse, instructor of student nurses, staff education director and manage-ment coordinator of program compliance issues. In 1987 Lois started working part-time for Antiques Minnesota; she worked as a clerk, assistant to the general manager, corporate shareholder and vice president of physical plant operations.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, visitation one hour prior to service at Washburn-McReavy, Nokomis Park Chapel, Minneapolis. Interment at Trinity-Faith Cemetery, Fergus Falls.
