Julia Coleman, 67, of LaVale, died Monday, October 10, 2016 at the Allegany Health, Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born February 3, 1949 in Terra Alta, WV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Coleman; and, 12 siblings.

For a short time, Mrs. Coleman had worked as a nursing assistant in area nursing homes.

She was a member of LaVale Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Cumberland Outdoor Club. Julia also enjoyed Hot Stove BINGO.

Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Kelly and husband Brandon, Cumberland; her son, Donald Lee Coleman and fiancé Kimberly, Cumberland; step-son, John D. Coleman and wife Madalyn, Baltimore; four grandchildren; and, several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene Street, Cumberland, on Friday from 6-8 PM.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM in the funeral home, with Pastor Jim Jeffries, officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
