Callie Ella Key Russell, 98, of Englewood, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, at Etowah Health Care Center.
A daughter of the late Samuel Arthur and Della Mae Hayes, she was a member of Englewood First Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hillie T. Key; one daughter, Mary E. Coleman; one son, William Thomas Key; two brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Key and Stephen Key, both of Englewood; two grandsons and one spouse, Bill and Annette Key of Etowah, and James Key of Athens; four granddaughters and three spouses, Melissa and Eric Calhoun of Savannah, Ga., Cinda and Doodle Bivens, Carolyn Coleman Mullins, and Stephanie and Tim Plemons; great-grandchildren and their spouses, Brittany Key, Samantha and Matt Quick, Billy Key, Jamie Key, Josh Brewer, Emily and Abe Aziz, Derek and Ashley Jenkins, and Tiffany Mullins and her friend, Ron Welch; great-great-grandchildren, Jaxson Alexander, Kolby Key, Crosby and Archer Aziz, and Lucy and Allister Jenkins; and one daughter-in-law, Louise Key of Athens.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Latham officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Bordwine Funeral Home of Etowah is in charge of arrangements.
