LARRY “RIDGE RUNNER” STACY, 63 years of age of Richlands, VA, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 in Grundy, VA. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Kermit Hayes and Pearlie Katherine Stacy. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was of the Christian faith. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and was a retried Coal Miner and Lumberman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1-Son: Martin B. Stacy; 1-Grandson: Devin Stacy; 1-Brother: Alvie; 3-Sisters: June, Tammy and Debbie.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 45-years, Bonnie Lou (Blankenship) Stacy, Richlands, VA; 6-Children: Larry Michael (Angela) Stacy, Grundy, VA, Mickey Dewayne (Sandra) Stacy, Grundy, VA, Marty Leander (Tosha) Stacy, Richlands, VA, Matthew (Sarah) Stacy, Richlands, VA, Melissa (Rudy) Stacy, Richlands, VA, Dustin Stacy, Richlands, VA; 12-Grandchildren.
Also, survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services for LARRY “RIDGE RUNNER” STACY will be conducted Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Noon at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Ministers: Joe Conn and Don Ashby officiating. Burial will follow in the Stacy-Smith Cemetery on Smith Branch.
