Dora James was born in Houston, Texas on March 11, 1966 to George and Hazel Baum and went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2016 outside Riverside, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Stanley James; son Royce Baum and his wife Jona Baum; stepson Matthew James and his wife Kristen James; three grandchildren, Jesse James, Kayla Baum and Frank James; one brother Thomas Baum; one sister Debbie Baum; one nephew Justin Baum; one niece Christine Baum; a special cousin Frank Munsinger; and Best Friend Crystal Zeigler.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Hazel Baum; and two brothers Doug Baum and Donnie Baum.

Dora loved to work with her plants and fish with her husband. She also liked to play with her four dogs and two cats when she was not with her family and friends.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday October 27, 2016 at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, located at Hwy 94 in Trinity, Texas with burial to follow at Eastern Gate Cemetery in Trinity, Texas. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 6-8pm at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas.
