Mary Francis Sanderson, departed this life Saturday, October 22, 2016 at her home in Sasakwa, OK at the age of 82 years. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri December 25, 1933 to the late Sanford Renken and Alberta (Oliver) Renken.
Mary and Leroy Sanderson were married June 20, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri and to this union three children were born. Mary was a member of First Baptist Church Wewoka , The Rose Garden Club, Red Hats, and Women's Mission. She also enjoyed playing the piano, collecting porcelain cats, and spending time cooking for her family.
Preceding Mary in death are her parents.,
Survivors include her husband Leroy of 54 years, children Kimberly Ann Alverez Sanderson and husband Carlos Alvaerez of Houston, TX, Raymond Leroy Sanderson and wife Mary of Wewoka, OK, and Janette Lynn Robertson and husband William of Liberal, KS ; six grandchildren ; three great-grandchildren; one brother John Renken and wife Phyllis of Kansas City, Missouri and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, October 27, 2016 at First Baptist Church Wewoka, OK with Pastor Chris Baker officiating and burial to follow at Holdenville Cemetery, Holdenville, OK.
