David Lee Seaman, 63, of Laureldale, passed away October 22, 2016, 2016 in the Reading Hospital & Medical Center. He was the husband of Janelle Louise (Boeshore) Seaman and they were married on April 15, 1972. Born on November 19, 1952 in Reading, Pa., he was the son of the late LeRoy Elias and Betty Jane (Emerich) Seaman.
David was a 1971 graduate of Muhlenberg High School. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.
David was employed as a truck driver for UPS and later was employed by PennDot.
He had a love of race cars, the Philadelphia Eagles and loved music. He also loved his dogs. David lived life to the fullest and loved to make people laugh.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughter, Beth Louise and her husband, Michael McNeal, of Reading; and son, Thomas David Seaman of Laureldale. Grandchildren: Olivia McNeal, Ayden Seaman, Travis McNeal and Elijah Seaman. Also surviving are his sisters, June Wentzel of Temple, and Dorothy Smith of Greentown.
Services will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home and again on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery.
