She married Lewis Mitchell Murray on Sept. 21, 1898 at Creston, Union Co., Iowa.

Funeral services were held at the Blue Mound church Sunday afternoon for Mrs. L. M. MURRY, who died in Dallas Methodist Hospital on October 20. She was 70 years of age.
Rev. Jimmy Burns conducted the final rites. Pallbearers were Lloyd MCGARRAUGH, Irvin WILLIAMS, George WILSON, Ray WRIGHT, B. T. KISNER and Kenneth MUNGER. The Nazarene trio of Mrs. Frank HERNDON, Mrs. R. T. PITTMAN and Mrs. Edith TUCKER gave several numbers.
She is survived by her husband, L. M. MURRY of Perryton; four sons, Lawrence of Sulphur Springs, Ark., Oscar of Perryton, Paul of Greensburg, Kansas and Gerald of Greensburg; three daughters, Mrs. C. D. GLENN, Dallas, Lula MURRY, Red Oak, Ia., and Alice MURRY, Dal;as; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, five sisters and four brothers.
Interment was in the Blue Mound cemetery.

Hattie Evelyn WEST was born to Charley and Ellen WEST at Southerfond, in O'Brien county, Iowa, and passed away October 20, 1949 at the age of 70 years, 2 months and 10 days.
At the age of 19 she was united in marriage to Lewis Michel MURRY at Creston, Iowa and to this union nine children were born, two preceding her in death, Vanchie at the age of 7 and Mrs. Glida WING at the age of 27.
In 1906 she homnesteaded with her husband in Beaver county and moved to Perryton in 1935, where she lived until a few months before her death.
At the time of her death she was visiting in Dallas with two of her daughters.
She was converted into the Baptist church at Afton, Iowa.
