She passed away on October 22, 2016 at the Golden Living Nursing Home in Branson.
Clara was born on October 7, 1919 in Ghent, West Virginia the daughter of Russell and Agatha Ransom Carter. She had been a long time resident of the area and worked as a cook at Silver Dollar City for 32 years. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Omaha, Arkansas.
Survivors are her son, Russell Cook and wife Wanda of Hollister, Missouri, one sister, Barbara Pennington of Flat Top, West Virginia, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James F. Cook, two sons, Garry Cook and Larry Cook, one daughter, Carolyn Cook Coffelt, three sisters and two brothers and one granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.
