Our beautiful and loving mother, grandmother and wife returned to her Heavenly Father's arms on December 23, 2006 after a long battle with lung cancer. She will be remembered for the service and love that she unselfishly gave to those around her. Her strength, courage and faith have been a tremendous example to all. She will be dearly missed.
Born to Douglas William and Ida Beth Mitchell in Salt Lake City on January 23, 1956. Married Donall E. Greene on January 30, 1976 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Survived by her husband Donall; children Jennifer (Brandon) Pearce, Shaun (Jessica) Greene, Ryan Greene; three grandchildren; Emily, Marie and Ethan; brothers William Glen (Gina) Mitchell, Scott C. (Cyndi) Mitchell, and Corey Douglas (Kelley) Mitchell.
There will be a viewing Friday evening, December 29th from 7 - 9 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 30th at 11:00 a.m. at the Meadow Lark Ward Chapel located at 2180 East Meadow Lark Way (9020 South), Sandy, where a viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
