On p. 38, we are informed that he was born in Cincinnati, 14 April 1865, son of Louis M. and Catherine Flach Fuchs. On p. 39, is a picture of the church, St. Matthaeus German Evangelical Church at Liberty/Elm Streets (just past Music Hall) where he was baptized [Church demolished, c1960s]. He attended Old Woodward High School, on the location where the old School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) still stands on Sycamore (near Liberty).

During his October 2016 trip to Cincinnati, Vicente Fox explained during his speech at the private cousins dinner that his grandfather died at home on his ranch, San Cristobal, Mexico.
