Berry, Daniel C. Of Clarklake, passed away at his home on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the age of 79. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara Diana Berry; four children, James (Jammie) Berry, Lawrence (Tami) Berry, Barbara (Michael) Gutowski and Andrew (Stacey) Berry; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Marlene Wilson and brother, William (Penny) Berry as well as nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Myrtle Hunt. Daniel was born in Jackson on June 27, 1937 to Daniel and Eva Mae (Swick) Berry. After graduating from East Jackson High in 1956 he was employed with the railroad and retired after nearly 40 years of service. Dan enjoyed fishing and volunteered at the Crouch Center. He had a strong faith in the Lord and was passionate about teaching the Bible. He and Mrs. Berry attended Skiff Lake Bible Church (8277 S. Jackson Road Clarklake, MI) where a celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends for visitation at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again at the Church from 12:00 noon until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park
