CATTARAUGUS - Raymond E. Ritter, 82, of Cattaraugus, entered into rest Saturday (Oct. 15, 2016).
He was born in Cattaraugus to the late Edwin and Marjorie Ritter.
Raymond took over the family farm when he was 15 years old and ran the farm for 65 years. He recently moved to Conewango Valley.
He was a loving husband to Jane (Charlesworth) Ritter for 61 years; the cherished father of Steven Ritter of Jamestown, Duane (Kathleen) Ritter of Port Jefferson, Diane (Mardel Cheatham) Ritter of St. Louis and Kevin (Adelia) Ritter of Conewango Valley; a grandfather of Danielle, Michael, David, Emily, Sarah, Calob, Rachel, Bridget and Meranda; and the brother of Donald (Barbara) Ritter of Grapevine, Texas. He also had many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Interment will be in Liberty Park Cemetery.
