Henry County Local---April 24, 1958
Patricia Batts Harp, 24, Louisville, formerly of Port Royal, was killed in an automobile accident in Louisville. Mrs. Harp and her husband and two children were thrown from their car when it was struck by an ambulance bringing a patient to a Louisville hospital.
Besides her husband and two children who were in the accident with Mrs. Harp, she is survived by a daughter: Peggy Jean Davis; her parents: Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Batts, Turners Station; two brothers: Edward Lee Batts and William Allen Batts, Turners Station.
Funeral services were conducted by W. A. McCarty Funeral Director at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Port Royal Baptist Church. Rev. Howard Olive officiated. Burial was in the Port Royal Cemetery.
