Many have known her and therefore received love and kindness from her.
She lived her life pleasing all she knew.
Her busy hands enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting, and had a great love for her family, friends, and especially children. Many have enjoyed the benefit of her gifts. Her afghans, baby blankets and booties are countless. With a pure and kind heart she loved and accepted all she met unconditionally.
She was born to Harris Alexander and Alice McCutchen Montgomery and later came to be raised by loving foster parents Dorla and Mel England of Salt Lake.
She married Reed Y. Newton on May 18th 1958. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple July 8, 1965. Together they raised three children.
She is survived by her loving husband Reed Y. Newton, and their sons, Dale (Jodi JoLynn), Alan (Vicky) Newton; daughter Jodie Ann (Nathan) Jensen, two grandchildren, Heather Newton, and Jesse B. Newton. Preceded in death by one grandchild Ian Newton. In her life she always had hopes of reuniting/raising her additional four children who died at near birth, Shirley Gay, Donna Reed, John Montgomery, and Cora Alice. For a woman who so loved children we who survive her live with the hope she has found joy in knowing them.
Your love is always with us Mom.
