John went by the Name "Big John" and he was the Son of James Wesley Richardson & Mary Jane Peden. John married Elizabeth Evaline "Eva" Richardson in about 1897. Both John & Elizabeth were born in Cherokee County, Alabama, and came to Texas in about 1885 with their families by covered wagon. They had two children, James Edgar and Thelma. John was a farmer all his life.(the death date is wrong on headstone)
