Not sure of the back story of Mary Cassie Brown. We know she was half Choctaw Indian and White. She was adopted by the Brown Family. Her fathers name was Simpson Brown. Mary Cassie was married to Lorenzo Tolbert. They had five Daughters Anna, Ora, Ida, Jesse, Johnnie Faye and one Son Hubert Tolbert.
