"Judith L. Brock, 76, of Wakefield, NE died on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Wakefield Health Care Center. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Bressler – Munderloh – Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield, NE. A memorial service will be held following the visitation on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
Judi was born on July 3, 1940 in Wayne, Ne, the daughter of Lawrence and Roenna (Utemark) Brock. She attended school in Wakefield, NE, graduating in 1958. After graduation she attended Secretary School Commercial Extension. She worked as a secretary for Union Pacific Railroad. On March 28, 1962, she was united in marriage to William Gibson. They later divorced. She later worked as a special education teacher’s aide. Judi enjoyed singing, crossword puzzles, cooking, reading, bible study and worship, playing cards and bingo. She also had an appreciation of music.
Judi is survived by her son: William Ross Gibson, Jr. of Snohomish, WA; daughters, Lachelle Laurean Gibson of Temecula, CA and Jennifer (Peter) Hendsbee of Ontario, Canada; four grandchildren, one step-granddaughter and one great granddaughter. She is also survived by her twin sister Jaci Rosenbaum of Omaha, NE and sister Betty (Charlie) Soderberg of Wakefield, NE and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Roenna Brock and her sister Anjenean Tell."
