Mrs. Gwendolyn Rita "Angel" Carpenter, daughter of the late Florence and Lucien Dumond was born August 13, 1946 and attended Augustinian Academy in Carthage, New York. Angel worked for many years at P&C Foods as a head cashier.

She was united in holy matrimony to Gary William Carpenter on September 16, 1978 in the home of their friends, Maryann and Malcolm Wetmore. Angel and Gary lived in West Carthage, New York until 1993 when they moved to Atlanta, Georgia.

Angel quietly departed this life Wednesday, September 28, 2016.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her daughter, Stacy Byous; son-in-law, Ken Mullin; two grandchildren, Skylar and Brodie; and brother, John Dumond.

A ceremony will be held at the American Legion in Duluth, Georgia on November 5, 2016 at 3:00 pm. Her remains will join those of her husband, Gary who passed away in 2014, at the Georgia National Veteran's Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
