MORTON- Lindsay K. West, 28, of Morton, formerly of Washington passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 3:37 P.M. in Peoria.
Lindsay was born on July 29, 1988 in Peoria to David and Amy Ford West. They survive and reside in Morton.
Also surviving are her siblings, Zachary West of Morton, Maureen (Layne) Langhoff of Peoria, Elaine (Mark) Langen of Dunlap, and Kevin J. West of Peoria; grandparents, Linda and Donald Jones of North Pekin and Marjorie West of Peoria; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved cat, Bobo.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather.
Lindsay attended District 50 and then Washington Community High School. She was a talented softball and basketball player. She was an avid Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs fun.
She worked for SC2 Inc. Supply Services in Bartonville. She attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton. She loved animals of all kind. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
A memorial service for Lindsay will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria. Father Kyle Lucas will officiate. There will be a visitation an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded.
