She was born on April 20, 1950 in Gurnee, Illinois, to Clifford and Dolores Mae (Richardson) Moehring.
She was second born and a twin, having an older sister, eleven younger sisters, and a younger brother.
Sharon had an appreciation for vintage and special items, a talent for sewing and a keen eye for fashion. She was a lover of plants and animals and a defender in protecting our environment. She had a thirst for knowledge, a strong work ethic, and was an advocate for healthy living. Above all this she was a loving wife, mother, gramma, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and her sister, Jacqueline.
She is survived by her husband, Gregg Rhodes; children, Paul (Natalie) Olivieri, and Renée (John) Siminski; five grandchildren; father; and her siblings, Teresa (Mike) Whitaker, Karen (Mark) Theel, Michael Moehring, Laura Moehring, Peg (Jerry, deceased) Antley, Chris (Jim) Harrer, Diane Woodruff, Cathy (Doug) Pachunka, Nina Moehring, Becka Moehring, and Debbie (Mark) Seligman.
Sharon will be remembered as a thoughtful and genuine soul who touched the lives of all who knew her.
Burial will be private and held during the week of Thanksgiving.
