George Hiebl, 81, Continental Manor, Abbotsford, died Thursday at 11:45 a.m. at Memorial Hospital in Taylor County. , He was born Oct. 11, 1903, in the town of Johnson, son of Kathrine and George Hiebl Sr. He was married to Anna Krupka on June 26, 1929, in Wuerzburg. She died Aug. 14,1973. Mr. Hiebl farmed in the town of Johnson from 1929 to January of 1974. He moved to Milan, where he resided until July 1983. After living in Athens for a year, he moved to the Abbotsford nursing home. He is survived by five sons, Lawrence, Route 2, Athens, Anthony, 5705 Rib Mountain Drive, Wausau, the Rev. Charles Hiebl, Plover, Joseph, Route 4, Medford, and James, Route 1, Colby; three daughters, Mrs. William (Delores) Hackel, Route 1, Edgar, Mrs. Glen (Agnes) Paul, Route 1, Dorchester, and Mary Hiebl, Greenfield; a brother, Clarence, Route 1, Dorchester; two sisters, Mrs. John (Rose) Kulas, Athens, and Mrs. Marie Erickson, Route 1, Dorchester; 30 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. " ' Services will be at 11 a.m Saturday at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Milan. The Rev. Charles Hiebl of Bronislava Catholic Church, Plover, will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m today and Saturday before church services at Gilles and Son Funeral Home, Athens, where there will be a rosary service at 8 p.m. today.
