AGED RESIDENT OF WALLIN PASSED AWAY SUNDAY
FUNERL HELD TUESDAY AFTERNOON
Funeral services are held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 in the home of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Larson over the body of Mrs. Anna Hildor, who had passed away from this life Sunday. Services were also conducted in Tabor Church at 3:00 o'clock by Rev. Anderson of Red Oak. The body was laid in its final resting place in the Tabor Cemetery.
Ann Charlotte Johnson was born June 23, 1845 in Horn, Kinda kommun, Östergötlands län, Sweden. She came to America in the spring of 1868 and settled in Galesburg, Illinois. In the year of 1876, she was united in marriage to John Erickson. To this union were born two sons, Tim and George, both of Villisca. Mr. Erickson died afterward and she came to Montgomery County in 1878, settling near Red Oak. She had remained a resident of this county until her demise. On March 23, 1888, she was married to Gust Hildor, who died about 12 years ago. To this union were born three children, Victoria (Mrs. John A. Larson), John, who resides here, and Alvin who died in infancy. Deceased was 71 years, 11 months, and 24 days of age and besides the children lives one sister and three brothers in Sweden and a host of her friends to mourn her loss.
At the funeral a mixed quartet sang, "Shall We See Beyond the River, " and Miss Eden Peterson sand, "Jesus Savior, Pilot Me." The pall bearers were , Tim and George Erickson, John Hildre, her son, John Larson, )son-in-law) Chas. Asklof and John Johnsons (nephews) The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the entire community in the loss of their beloved one.
