Evelyn Marie Pearce, 83, of Warsaw, died Friday Oct. 14, 2016, in Warsaw.
She was born June 5, 1933, in Birchtree to Joseph Irvin and Lenora Schnieder Goodman.
On Dec. 17, 1950, she married James Pearce.
Evelyn Pearce was a retail clerk at a grocery store for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Vern, Roscoe, and Joe Goodman; two sisters, Maxine Watts and Vivian Leavitt; a stillborn daughter, Connie, and a son, Russell Pearce in 2000.
She is survived by her husband, James; three daughters, Joyce Copeland, of Raytown, Linda Poos and her husband, Rick, of Independence, and Tracie Hunsaker, of Warsaw; a brother, Ruel Goodman, of Warsaw; six grandchildren, Trinidy Copeland and his wife, Stacy, Jennifer Taylor and her husband, Mike, Jeremy Hunsaker and his wife, Brittney, Crissy Scott, Leighann Jenkins and her husband, D.J. and Karla Poos and her significant other, Scott; 10 great-grandchildren, Alex, Divonte, Alexis, Nevaeh, Zoey, Briauna, Rikki, Jaden, Kloe and Evelyn; and other relatives and many friends.
Funeral service for Evelyn Pearce is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, in Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in McBride Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled for noon until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials have been suggested to McBride Cemetery or Hospice Compassus and donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
